Pre Owned Hermes Kelly Craie Epsom leather designer bag K25 GHW

Originally designed in the 1930s by Robert Dumas, son-in-law to Emile Hermes, who headed Hermes between 1951-1978, this designer bag was created with straps.  The shape was a traperoid shape with a cutout flap, two trianular gussets, two side straps and a handle.  The brand was modernised with this bold new design.

It is said that Grace Kelly was photographsed wearing this luxury designer bag and the result of this was international expsosure leading Hermes to rename the bag the Kelly.

The Kelly Sellier 25 is an extremely rare find. Sellier is the rigid attribute of the handcrafted Kelly bag. Epsom leather type allows for a stiffer bag crafting, which along with its size, making it the perfect evening bag. Craie, or else off-white, in Epsom leather is a true manifestation of elegance.
